Last night I attended a premier screening of the new Dreamworks movie "Hotel For Dogs". It's a cute film about two orphaned kids; Andi and her younger brother, Bruce whose guardians dislike dogs and won't allow them to have a pet. In an effort to find a place for their dog 'Friday" (see photo above left), they find an abandoned hotel and transform it into a really cool dog paradise. As the film progresses, dog Friday invites a round of other dogs to live in the abandoned hotel. The kids make all sorts of contraptions to amuse the dogs, feed them and keep them busy. Unfortunately, dogs will be dogs and the barking ensues, which irks nosey neighbors who call Animal Control to investigate. The kids go to extreme lengths to prevent others from discovering the hotel filled with dogs. The dogs are hilarious, and have true personalities. It is a fun movie with a cute storyline, and plenty of fun doggie scenes. It's a perfect movie for kids, but you will all leave the theatre smiling and feeling upbeat. Here is the trailer of Hotel for Dogs that I found on YouTube. Enjoy!
Thanks for stopping by, and Happy Friday!
