Something I had totally forgotten crossed my mind yesterday and it made me understand why Baptiste Giabiconi got the inspiration for his silly singing try-out. Karl Lagerfeld, being the media attractor that he is, also made a little “featuring-video-clip” in the past. It was a collaboration between the Kaiser and a band called “something a la mode” and was made in honour of his Chanel Resort (A sort of in between seasons collection, quite functional and designed mostly for people who seek out the sun in winter) Collection 2010 (back in 2009) that took place in the grand hotel excelsior Venice lido. The video is very enjoyable and the music is highly addictive. Since a disciple learns from his master, it is only logical that Baptiste had to make his very own music video.
