Tiger Woods slipped to No-8 forever?

Tiger Woods, the super golfer
Tiger Woods at No-8 in World Golf Rankings

Woods with wife and son
There was a time when the Monarchy of Golf had been  in the hand of Tiger Woods and the rest of the world was on the other side. But the day has changed. Woods is no longer an icon of superior talent and skill, he is a top-ten talent that has no actual business being even that high on the list. The newest world rankings were released on May 9, 2011, and Woods slipped to eight a spot lower than his No. 7 ranking heading into the Wells Fargo Championship, right behind Englishman Paul Casey who missed the cut over the weekend.. Tiger Woods did not play in the Wells Fargo Championship due to ankle and knee injuries. It is expected that he will make his return on May 12, 2011 at Players Championship in Ponte Vedra Beach and it could be a stepping stone to U.S. Open.

His former stronghold No-1 may have been regained if he gets back his supershots and brilliance and mastery. We are eagerly waiting for his renewal classic show up.
