The Karl Lagerfeld diet...coke!

For the second time Coca Cola and Karl Lagerfeld have collaborated in creating an exclusive limited edition range of diet coke bottles. The three specially designed bottles will hit Belgium in may 2011. Coca cola contacted the Kaiser again, probably because of the close bond Lagerfeld has with the brand. He supposedly lost 90 pounds in 2001 because of a diet consisting of steamed vegetables and diet coke. The designs are based on the in 2010 introduced new diet coke advertising campaign, featuring the 'love-it-light-girls', Eleanor, Bernadette & Irene. (I actually never heard about these love it light marionettes before). Polka-dots represent Bernadette's romantic side, stripes Eleanor's taste for fashion and stars Irene's rock image. Understandably Lagerfeld's trademark makes a comeback as well, he's own silhouette on every bottle. Inno, Kreatos and Kinepolis (Ladies at the movies) will distribute the collectors items. Last year the advertising campaign featured Coco Rocha and Baptiste Giabiconi. This year Coco Rocha, Heidi Mount and Jeneil Williams will be modelling. Pictures will be taken by Karl Lagerfeld himself.
